“As someone who always loves being outdoors I grew up playing in the waves and as a surfer, mountain climber, free diver and sailor, I learned to see nature as the most pure influence in my life as an artist” - Luiz Belo

Luiz Belo is originally from Curitiba, the capital city of Parana State, in the southern part of Brazil.His works are mostly in oil but also in acrylic, water color, pastel, mixed midia and collages.

All his creations tend to be provocative with a harsh realism. Finding a new way to visualize things around him is what drives Luiz to create his paintings. He believes that anyone can create and see things in a different light and form.
